John C.C. McAtee

John C.C. McAtee was this year’s inductee into the Greenwich Association of Real Estate Agents “Hall of Fame”, joining the ranks of a very select number of honored Real Estate Agents. Previously he was named the Greenwich Association of Real Estate Agents (GAR) 2021 Real Estate Agent of the Year, a prestigious designation amongst his peers. These are the highest awards presented to a member and based upon leadership and contributions made to the Greenwich Association of Real Estate Agents, the Connecticut Association of Real Estate Agents, National Association of REALTORS®, and the Greenwich community.

For over 25 years, John McAtee along with his wife Hillary have been principals of New England Land Company, responsible for spearheading the residential division, managing all commercial activities and growing it into the premier boutique real estate team at Coldwell Banker®. A licensed broker in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts, John’s in-depth knowledge, dedication, and expertise in the market of luxury homes is esteemed. Charismatic and diplomatic, John has earned the trust and loyalty of decades of buyers and sellers as evidenced by successfully managing over 1 billion dollars of real estate transactions. Over the last 12 years, John has been intimately involved with leadership at the Greenwich Association of Real Estate Agents, chairing numerous committees, (Risk Reduction, Budget & Finance, Multiple Listing) serving three years on the Executive Committee as its Board President and as Board Director for over a decade. He is also a member of Connecticut Association Real Estate Agents (CAR) and past Region 1 VP Board of Director.

John McAtee is a member of an elite network of over 77 real estate professionals from 48 key markets in the U.S. and abroad who are focused on the highest level of client service and business integrity. Combined, this group, The International Luxury Alliance, closes over $13.4 billion annually.

An outdoor enthusiast, musician and competitive athlete by nature, John enjoys playing hockey, golf and “any sport that involves contact with a ball” and drumming. Actively engaged with lifelong ties to the community, John, Hillary and their three children (who are 5th generation residents) are proud to call Greenwich “home”.

Hillary H. McAtee

Hillary McAtee is Managing Partner of the residential real estate team of Greenwich-based New England Land Team at Coldwell Banker®. In addition to her primary business of selling and leasing residential properties, she manages all aspects of the teams’ residential activities as evidenced by over 1 billion dollars of transactions spanning a 30-year career.

Mrs. McAtee began her real estate career as an agent with Merritt Associates in Greenwich, CT. She excelled in real estate management at a young age and soon became the manager of the Greenwich office responsible for all sales and leasing. In 1994, Hillary and her husband, John, formed a partnership with Sam Sammis to create the residential division of New England Land Company. John and Hillary McAtee became sole proprietors of the Residential division in the fall of 2012 continuing its legacy and growth in becoming the premier boutique real estate in Greenwich. In 2022, they partnered with Coldwell Banker® and the Tamar Lurie Team to form the New England Land Team.

Hillary is amongst the company’s top producers, earning acclaimed recognition as a member of the Coldwell Banker® International President’s Circle, representing the top 10% of affiliated teams worldwide. As a member of the international brokerage, she is able to utilize a variety of unique tools and marketing features to benefit her clients and customers.

Mrs. McAtee was raised and lives in Greenwich with her husband and their three children. She is fourth generation to Greenwich with her great grandparents building their family homestead at the turn-of-the-century in the community.

Hillary is involved with the town and has volunteered for many years and has served on numerous Greenwich Board of Real Estate Agents committees, served as a Connecticut Real Estate Agent representative and on many sports and school-related committees. Hillary is a board member of the Greenwich Tree Conservancy, and founding member of BYO Greenwich, an initiative to protect the environment in Greenwich for the benefit and welfare of its residents by encouraging the use of reusable checkout bags and decreasing plastic bag waste. Hillary is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys playing squash, skiing, hiking mountains and watching ice hockey.
